Warm weather is fast approaching and we are preparing for a spectacular, fun-filled summer! Our Summer Video Camps offer autistic and neuro-divergent creators a collaborative, hands-on experience in film and animation.
No experience required, just a willingness to make fun group projects! We can hardly wait to work together, brainstorm ideas, jam out stories, film cool shots, and edit sweet cuts.

Le temps chaud approche à occupée à préparer un été spectaculaire et amusant ! Nos camps vidéo d'été offrent aux créateurs autistes et neuro-divergents une expérience pratique et colaborative du cinéma et de l'animation.
Aucune expérience n'est requise, il suffit d'avoir envie de réaliser des projets amusants ! Nous sommes impatients de travailler ensemble, de trouver des idées, de filmer des plans sympas et de nous aider mutuellement à monter le tout.
Le camp d'été de cette année va être génial !

WHEN:
All camp days run from Monday-Friday 10am - 3:30pm

SHAPE OF THE DAY
10:15-12:00 - Morning Work Session (w/ 10min break)
12:00-1:00 - Lunch
1:00-2:00 - Recreation hour (Park, Special Activities)
2:00-3:00 - Afternoon Work Session
WHAT TO EXPECT: A hands-on filmmaking experience
● Choose a film idea with your group
● Write a 5-7 page film script
● Design your character and costume
● Learn how to make a shot list and a storyboard
● Act in your film, or take on a role behind the camera
● Participate in 3-4 filming days filming on location or in the green screen
● Learn the basics of editing and post-production
● Watch your final project on the big screen for our Annual Gala in November

There is one annual Jordan Smith Bursary that will cover the costs of attending a 2 week camp, find our if you are eligible HERE!

Tous les jours de camp se déroulent lundi au vendredi de 10h à 15h30

FORME DE LA JOURNÉE
10:15-12:00 - Session de travail du matin (avec une pause de 10 minutes)
12:00-1:00 - Déjeuner
1:00-2:00 - Heure de récréation (parc, activités spéciales)
2:00-3:00 - Session de travail de l'après-midi
QUOI ATTENDRE: Une expérience cinématographique pratique
● Choisissez une idée de film avec votre groupe
● Rédigez un scénario de 5 à 7 pages
● Concevez votre personnage et votre costume
● Apprenez à faire une liste de plans et un storyboard
● Jouez dans votre film, ou endossez un rôle derrière la caméra
● Participez à 3 ou 4 journées de tournage sur place ou sur écran vert
● Apprenez les bases du montage et de la post-production
● Regardez votre projet final sur grand écran lors de notre Gala annuel en novembre!
