MAKE A GREATER IMPACT WHILE MAXIMIZING YOUR TAX BENEFITS
Donating publicly traded securities, mutual funds, or stock options is one of the most tax-efficient ways to give. When you donate securities directly to a registered charity rather than selling them and donating the proceeds, you eliminate the capital gains tax. This means your donation goes further, and you receive a larger charitable tax credit!
Spectrum Productions will issue an official tax receipt for fair market value of the donated securities on the day the transfer is completed. You can also carry forward unused tax credits for up to 5 years.

Transfers can also be accepted through CanadaHelps.org, which facilitates securities donations for a small processing fee (3%).

WHO CAN JOIN?
Anyone! Membership is open to all individuals who support our mission, and is defined in our bylaws as follows:
5.3.1 Anyone appointed to the Board of Directors automatically becomes a full member of Spectrum.
5.3.2 Each individual signed up for a regular term or summer camp programming (or their delegate as named on membership form) automatically becomes a full member of Spectrum.
5.3.3 Each individual who pays an annual membership fee of $25 or more automatically becomes a full member of Spectrum Productions.
5.3.4 Each full-time staff member automatically becomes a full member of Spectrum Productions, and all active staff past probationary period.
Your membership lasts for one calendar year.
