On November 19, 2025, the historic Rialto Theatre buzzed with energy as our community came together for an evening filled with film, connection, creativity—and of course, plenty of nachos! Our 16th Annual Gala and Screening was a vibrant celebration of autistic creative talent, bringing together filmmakers, families, supporters, and friends for a night to remember.
The screening featured an inspiring selection of films created by autistic artists from our programs, each one reflecting the imagination, hard work, and unique voices of their creators. Watching the audience cheer, laugh, and applaud throughout the night was a powerful reminder of why this event matters!

We extend our sincere thanks to Sharyn Hoppenheim of the Mel Hoppenheim Family Foundation for sharing her thoughtful words and for their generous support throughout the evening. We were honoured to have Sharyn share the news of our exciting new project launching a media club at Centennial Academy, which will help open new creative pathways for emerging filmmakers in our community.

Closing the Gap: Help Us Cross the $100K Mark!
Thanks to the generosity of everyone who attended, participated in the silent auction, and supported in countless ways, we have reached just over $87,000 of our $100,000 fundraising goal! We’re still accepting donations until the end of 2025 as we work to reach the finish line. Every contribution helps us expand our programs and ensure autistic and neurodiverse artists continue to have access to meaningful, creative opportunities.
