Join us for our Special General Meeting to Appoint our CPA!

It is with pleasure that the Spectrum Productions Board of Directors invites all of our membership to join us for a Special General Meeting from 7:00 to 7:15pm on Thursday, February 12, to vote and appoint the CPA who will produce a Review Engagement Financial Statement level audit for the Spectrum Productions 2025 fiscal year.

The recommended firm Sassi et Associé CPA INC. is located in Montréal offers a wide range of accounting services for non-profit organizations and supports clients through personalized accounting services. Expertise in NPO’s, competitive cost and responsiveness are the key benefits. The Review Engagement offer from SASSI-CPA is supported by an optional bookkeeping firm, IntertaxLaval.

In accordance with our Bylaws, the only business of the meeting will be to vote on appointing our 2025 auditor.

Bylaws relevant to this SGM

• 6.4. Special General Meetings

  • 6.4.1. A Special General Meeting may be called by the Board of Directors solely for the purpose of considering a specific resolution, which must be specified in the notice of the meeting

  • 6.4.4. All Special General Meetings shall be called by the Board of Directors to take place on a day and at a location to be agreed upon by the members of the Board of Directors.

  • 6.5.2 The Board of Directors must provide at least 7 days’ advance notice for Special General Meetings.

How to participate

All members of Spectrum Productions - both honorary and full - are encouraged to attend the meeting. To ensure a smooth and efficient event, please be on time (log in by 7PM EST) and registering at this link or with the button below so we can communicate effectively.

Full members will have the right to vote on the appointment of a the new CPA who will prepare Review Engagement level Financial Statements for the 2025 fiscal year. Full membership in Spectrum Productions is currently defined in our bylaws as follows:

5.3 Criteria for full membership of Spectrum

• 5.3.1 Anyone appointed to the Board of Directors automatically becomes a full member of Spectrum.

• 5.3.2 Each individual signed up for a regular term or summer camp programming (or their delegate as named on membership form) automatically becomes a full member of Spectrum .

• 5.3.3 Each individual who pays an annual membership fee of $25 or more automatically becomes a full member of Spectrum Productions.

• 5.3.4 Each full time staff member automatically becomes a full member of Spectrum, and all active staff past probationary period
