Silent Auction

Since all of our programming activities are virtual this year, we are doing the same with this the silent auction, so everyone can enjoy one of the key highlights of the in-person event. Details on how to participate coming up soon.

Each year our community has stepped forward to support this important event by donating items for the SILENT AUCTION, and this year we are reaching out to ask you to support us again. IF YOU ARE A BUSINESS, you can donate a valuable item and gain visibility for your brand. Likewise, you can donate as an individual.

If you have items to donate, or would like to discuss corporate sponsor opportunities please email dan@productionsspectrum.com

YOUR SUPPORT IS CRUCIAL

This year in particular we need your help more than ever. Through financial prudence, we have been able to weather this hard time without major hardship. Moving forward, the future of Spectrum depends on your support at this time.

We need extra support to help us get through the trying times! In light of the global situation, we have made the important choice to prioritize safety: we decided to run a “VIRTUAL FIRST” model until things can safely return back to normal. And so far it has been a success with six months worth of virtual programs running since April. The resilience of the community and of the organization has been clear to us, as participants continued signing up and creating amazing work during our online programs.

However, we understand the difficulties arising and what is lost for you all in no longer having access to the space and community we have created here at Spectrum. We are therefore building protocols to find a way to offer some safe in-person opportunities in the meantime, and your support is absolutely crucial for us to be able to build these flexible structures. We greatly appreciate our community’s patience as we expand and adapt our online programming in accessible formats. When the time is right, things will return to normal - until then, staff and participant safety is our foremost priority.

Given our financial prudence in years past we have to date weathered this crisis without major hardship – moving forward the future of Spectrum depends on your support at this time.

Support us by attending the virtual Gala, making a financial donation, or donating an item for our silent auction.

Virtual Gala Platform

While we can’t meet at the Rialto this year, we have chosen a platform called ‘Airmeet’ that will allow us to socialize at ‘tables of 8’ that you will be returned to at each small intermission between videos, live stream announcements from hosts and short clips from the summer film makers.

A VIRTUAL TABLE for 8 will mean you can upload your logo (or drawing), and it allows you to sit and video chat with your friends and colleagues. Leave a couple of seats open for visitors during intermission and between films, such as the creators, the Spectrum team or an old friend. Or, you can roam about and visit other tables.

Eats with pete - Virtual Gala challenge!

Next year we hope to serve you some hot dogs in person from Sweets with Pete host Peter Papaioannou but tor this gala we dug up this old reality show.

Peter hosted Dean Evans, Ubisoft game designer to his kitchen. Dean’s team paired with Spectrum CML participants to create some wild combos.

Logging into the event

The link emailed to you before the event will act as an authentication to enter. You will only be required to fill in your name, organization, and designation details to take you straight to the event. Purchase your tickets through SIMPLYK above.

When you enter Airmeet, you can check if the session is live or yet to start. If the session is live, you will directly see the stage/session upon login. If you land in the social lounge, it means that the session is yet to start.

Please make the most out of the social lounge during this time. The area allows you to interact with other participants of the event and hop between tables to meet new people and have conversations. The Social Lounge is active before a live session, during session breaks, and after the live session ends.

Join tables: Typically, an Airmeet virtual table has between two to eight seats each. Once you decide which table you’d like to be seated at, select the “Take a seat” button below the table. If you want to leave the conversation, say bye to the table participants, and click on the “Leave the table” button in the bottom right.

A countdown will be displayed when there are 15 seconds left for the session to commence. Once the session begins, you will no longer be able to access the Social Lounge.
