Sweat it out! Full-Body Workout Video

Hi everyone, my name is Angela, I’m a certified personal trainer and a creator at Spectrum Productions. My first workout video will premiering this Saturday at 2pm!!

It is a full-body workout for all of you who like challenge, s and working out. It was filmed in a beautiful apartment, along with some plants and a friendly black cat called Benjamin. So, you can bring your pets to join, if you like!

Creating this video was a long process, lots of planning, learning software, editing and revising, but the hard work paid off. I’ve included some tips below if you want to make your own workout video one day. Enjoy!

Here are some tips to help you create a workout video:

1- find a workout video or YouTube channel that inspires you. Take note of all the elements you like and want to include in your video (e.g. talking style, title design, transition effects, music, timers and counters, etc.)

2- Brainstorm what kind of workout you want to do. Do you want it to be short/long/challenge video/theme?

3- Write down a list of the exercises you want to include, based on the type of workout you are doing.

4- Plan the sequence of exercises as well as the number of reps.

5- Write a script, or just plan what you’re going to say for each exercise.

6- Produce the video with your gear/camera/sound. Get help for the shooting day and make sure you have rehearsed a few times; you don’t want to get stuck when you’re filming!

7 - Edit the video! Make sure to get some feedback and make some final changes to make it impeccable.

8- Give your video (and/or channel) a title! This is more important than you think because a good title can bring more viewers to your video, and maybe one day you can have enough to make some money.

9- Post it when done, with a good-looking thumbnail.

Warning! Avoid All of these:

1- Talking too much during the workout!

2- Having your music too loud or too low, or sound not in sync.

3- Too much complaining during the workout.

4- Not showing each exercise properly.

5- Not working out

6- Inappropriate comments or behaviour.

SWEAT IT OUT!
